Salad // Sauerkraut + Avocado + Banana

Sauerkraut salad

A salad with sauerkraut and banana, not your everyday ingredients. But combining these in a salad was the best new combination of flavours I’ve tried in weeks. The ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1 banana, in pieces
  • 500 gr raw sauerkraut
  • 50 gr red sprouts
  • 4 tbs chopped cilantro
  • 4 tbs peanuts
  • 2 tbs serundeng / coconut flakes
  • 1/2 orange, squeezed

Combine all the ingredients in a big bowl, stirr carefully with a big wooden spoon (the avocado and banana might break so be gentle) and serve!
