This is absolutely my favorite smoothie/juice. I can’t really deside – it’s both. I juice some of my favorite vegetables and blend this with an avocado and some wheatgrass powder. The result is a creamy juice/smoothie, filled with good stuff and the taste is just perfect. The lime makes it fresh and using wheatgrass powder actually makes it a little sweet. The avocado makes it so creamy! Love it. I use the wheatgrass powder by Naturya. If you add a some extra superfoods on top, you’re good to go! The ingredients for this smoothie/juice (inspired by Jason Vale’s Super Juice), which makes a great breakfast:
- 1 handful spinach
- 1 lime (peeled)
- 1 apple
- 2 carrots
- 1/2 avocado
- 1tbs wheatgrass powder
- optional: beepollen, cacao nibs, chia seeds
Juice the spinach, peeled lime, apple and carrots. Pour the juice in the blender and add the avocado and wheatgrass powder. Blend for about 20 seconds and top off with some extra superfoods like beepollen, cacao nibs and chia seeds. Enjoy!
