Did you ever try kaki fruit (sharon fruit / persimmon)? It’s perfect for smoothies! Kaki fruits are sweet, and slightly tangy with a soft to occasionally fibrous texture – the taste reminds me of a combination between dates, papaya & mango.
Sounds good eh? Try out this easy creamy smoothie…
You need:
- 1 kaki fruit, peeled
- 1 cup of water
- 4 tbs quark
- 1 ts cinnamon powder
- 1 ts bee pollen
- 1 ts cacao nibs
Blend everything together, pour the liquid into a glass and finish with some extra bee pollen & cacao nibs. Enjoy your perfect and fast breakfast.

The kaki fruit reminds me of the Jamaican naseberry.
