The great thing about a new year is the opportunity to start over. A new beginning. A whole new year to become whoever you want to be: from a healthy person full of energy and passion – to a better partner or friend. All is possible. January is the month to kickstart things. I’ll be doing several detoxes: a clean 9 detox where Aloe Vera plays the lead role, a wheatgrass cleanse with home grown wheatgrass and a juicing detox with my own juicing recipes and salads. I’ve decided to do a whole month. I’ll be sharing my experiences and recipes with you via my blog.
So, why wait? Try out this detox juice full of vitamins, minerals and chlorofyl. It will be a perfect start to your day!
For one big glass you need:
- 1 handful spinach
- 1 handful dark salad leaves
- 1 handful kale
- 2 big carrots
- 2 apples
- 1/2 beetroot
- 1/3 cucumber
Extra superfoods (optional):
- 1 ts chlorella powder
Cut the ingredients into small pieces and juice them with your slowjuicer. If you don’t mind the taste (it’s a bit grassy/bitter), add a ts of chlorella powder. Enjoy!
Dear Rosalie. Thank you for the nice blog. The juice you made with the kale, cucumber, spinach and carrots and beet root is great. But the picture you took has apples in it too. Did you add apples?
Also, if I look at the picture of the glass, the juice seems almost like pulp. Don’t you filter out the pulp before drinking it. I prefer a smooth juice and pour the juice through a strainer above a glass. And what kind of juicer did you use to get such a thick shake-like consistency. Regards, Rick
Hey Rick! I indeed added 2 apples! Great, thanks for noticing :). I used the Hurom HF Slowjuicer. Sometimes I prefer my juices smoothe, but these more thicker juices contain more vibers so I think this might be healthier…
