Pumpkin Spice Superfoods Smoothie

This smoothie is one of my new favourites. It’s creamy, sweet, filling, healthy and.. well what else would you want?! 😉

For one big glass you need:

  • 200 ml / 1 cup cold (nut)milk
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 handful chopped pumpkin
  • 1 ts pumpkin spice
  • 1/2 ts cinnamon powder
  • 1 handful superfoods (mix)
  • 1 tbs bee pollen

Mix all the ingredients (but keep the bee pollen aside) in your blender until smooth. Add the bee pollen and enjoy your detox lunch or breakfast smoothie!

    Hi Rosalie
    Did you use raw pumpkin?

    1. Hi Jet! Yes, raw pumpkin. Just chop it into fine pieces, it works!

    Hi Rosalie,

Where did you get the pumpkin spice? I saw more recipies that need it, but not sure where to get it!

    1. Hi Yonne, it depends on what country you live in… Do you live in The Netherlands? Then you need Speculaaskruiden 🙂 ‘Classic’ Pumpkin Spice Mix contains: cinnamon (kaneel), ginger (gember), cloves (kruidnagel), nutmeg (nootmuskaat) & allspice (piment). Speculaaskruiden or Koekkruiden contains: cinnamon, ginger, cloves, nutmeg & kardemom. It’s almost the same, and works perfectly!

Reblogged this on 'Twas Meant To Be…. and commented:
    Yum ♥

  4. Thank you! I learned to sprinkle the bee pollen on top. I do use organic canned pumpkin, which is wonderful. Like drinking pie 😉
