Some people might find oatmeal boring – but then you haven’t tried recipes like these before! Get creative with your oatmeal recipe: this creamy banana-chai flavoured oatmeal will send your taste buds to heaven.
What do you need for one portion?
- 250 ml soy milk or almond milk
- 4 tbs oats
- 1 ripe banana, sliced
- 2 tbs chai power blend*
- 2 tbs fresh blueberries
- 2 tbs goji berries
- 1 tbs bee pollen
- 1 tbs mulberries
- 1 tbs coconut flakes
Place the oats with the soymilk in a small pan (avoid heating your food up in the microwave), heat it up and stirr occasionally for about a minute. Add the sliced rice banana and mash it well with a fork. Heat it up untill the banana is totally mashed/melted with the oatmeal, this takes about 3 minutes – stirr to avoid burning. Add the chai power blend or chai tea mix and stirr. Put it in a small bowl and add the superfoods.
Done! Enjoy. Trust me, you won’t regret making this recipe :). It’s healthy & delicious!!

*You can also add a ‘Chai Tea Mix’ to this oatmeal in stead of the power blend, or make your own power blend mix with chai flavour, mix: coconut flakes, almonds, hazelnuts, pumpkin seeds, chia seeds, rhodiola, mate, palm sugar & chai powder.
